Strengthening life stories
This was our first partnership with Project 4031 and only our second time visiting the lively Southside neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised to see some familiar faces and repeat shoppers, but we also made lots of new connections.

In total, we connected 40 shoppers with 175 lbs of shoes, accessories and clothing, while Chhaupadi distributed hundreds of menstrual and hygiene products.
April 2023
150 years, 150 families!
We had the honor of partnering with TCU’s Student Support Services Office (SSS) to host our biggest pop-up to date. Our goal was to connect 150 families with clothing in honor of the university’s 150th birthday!

Thanks to the support of staff, students, volunteers and alumni, we were able to help over 200 families and we distributed over 1,000 pounds of clothing and accessories.

We definitely celebrated the day in style!
March 2023
FWCC meets FortressFW!
This was the first time we partnered with Fortress FW, and the first event we've held in the Historic Southside neighborhood of Fort Worth.

Each of our events has been more successful than the last, and this one was no exception.

In just 4 short hours, we were able to connect over 117 shoppers with 226 pounds of clothing, over 2,000 menstrual and hygiene products - almost DOUBLE our last turn out!

This has been our most successful event to date. Check out the photos on our Facebook and Instagram!
January 2023
Our first Community Pop-Up Shop of 2023
This was our third pop-up at LVTRise, but the first time we partnered with fellow non-profit, Chhaupadi!

Chhaupadi focuses on ending period poverty, destigmatizing menstruation, and distributing hygiene products.
In just 4 short hours, we were able to connect over sixty families with several hundred pounds of clothing, over 1,000 menstrual and hygiene products, and additional library resources.

November 2022
Donation Drive-Thru & Drop Off
We partnered with the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors (GWFAR) for a drive-through style donation drive!
Clients, friends, and community partners were encouraged to drop off their donations at the GFWAR headquarters. One generous client dropped off over eleven bags of clothing and accessories!
This was a great event that helped us restock our community closet for winter.

October 2022
Coats, Costumes and Candy Shop
We partnered with LVTRise for a community shop that focused on providing coats, cold weather gear and Halloween costumes.
Our community partners also donated bags of Halloween candy to the LVTRise center for their annual fall festival.

We were able to help over 50 families and moved over 500 pounds of clothing in just a few hours!
August 2022
Back to School Bash
Only a few months after we officially incorporated, we partnered with LGBTQ Saves and Chhaupadi for a back to school bash!

FWCC was able to provide gender affirming clothes, school uniforms, backpacks and school supplies for local youth.

We were able to help close to 100 families with various back to school needs.

July 2022
Community Clothing Swap
This was our very first pop-up shop!

Originally, we encouraged our attendees to "bring a bag, take a bag" as we worked to build up our inventory. It was more of a clothing "swap" instead of our current shopping model.

Attendees did not disappoint with their donations, and we were able to replenish our supplies quickly! Good thing, since we had another pop-up planned in just a few weeks.

We've made a lot of friends at LVTRise since this first event, and love seeing familiar faces every time we return.

Kendra Scott Gives Back to FWCC
This was our very first event! Our "coming out party", if you will.

Kendra Scott - University Park was a lovely host, and invited us to spend the afternoon in their shop telling guests about FWCC and how we wanted to connect communities with clothing.

Not only was this our first ever event, it was also our first fundraiser! Thanks to our generous shopping partners, we raised $250.00
